Shiny Electric Horses - makes me think of Asimov or Bradbury, but somehow is still appealing, if reminiscent of Shiny Toy Guns and any time travel movie where the characters go back forward time or live in the 30th Century, but everyone wears Victorian waistcoats and talks with a British accent even though they can teleport. Will somebody please explain to me why this seems to be a recurring theme in time travel stories? Why would anyone want to wear Victorian clothes in the future? How about shiny (the color of the future. Not a descriptive adjective, a COLOR) one piece catsuit that you don't have to undo to go to the bathroom and is also flame resistant, climate controlled and can make you invisible and/or walk through walls.
That's all I have so far.
