The posts are like another form of Post Secret, but online for anyone to read. I think there is something fundamentally exciting about airing your secrets to an unknown audience. It probably has something to do with the concept that it is easier to tell your problems to a stranger.
also: I'm pretty sure that punk/emo songs are modern day love songs. just throwing that out there.
